The castle with its turrets could make an amazing backdrop for "site-specific" theatre. (Or any kind of show really - maybe outside in the summer?)
Ghost stories perhaps? A play about the caretaker who died in the bombing in WWII? A musical? Macbeth?! The Fringe are always talking about reaching out beyond the city centre. Free tickets for locals :)
